إعلامي وأكاديمي ومدرب Media Professional, Academic, and Trainer

د. محسن الإفرنجي هو أكاديمي وصحفي ومدرب إعلامي يتمتع بخبرة تتجاوز 20 عاماً في مجالات التعليم الإعلامي والصحافة والتدريب. يعمل حالياً أستاذاً مساعداً في الصحافة الإذاعية والرقمية بجامعة قطر. حصل على درجة الدكتوراه الدولية (Mención Internacional) في الإعلام – الإنتاج التلفزيوني من جامعة سنتياغو دي كومبوستيلا في إسبانيا ودرجة الماجستير في الإنتاج الوثائقي والتلفزيوني من جامعة يورك سانت جون البريطانية، إضافةً إلى درجة البكالوريوس في الصحافة والإعلام من الجامعة الإسلامية بغزة.

شغل منصب محاضر ومدرب في الجامعة الإسلامية بغزة لنحو 18 عاماً، وأسهم في تأسيس قناة الكتاب الفضائية التابعة للجامعة. كما عمل صحفياً مع العديد من المؤسسات الإعلامية الفلسطينية والعربية، ومدرباً إعلامياً معتمداً منذ أكثر من 15 عاماً، بينها معهد الجزيرة للإعلام الذي قدّم من خلاله عدداً من الدورات التدريبية في غزة.

إلى جانب عمله الأكاديمي، يكتب د. الإفرنجي مقالات متخصصة في قضايا الإعلام ضمن «مجلة الصحافة» الصادرة عن معهد الجزيرة للإعلام. وقد أسس «الشبكة الفلسطينية للإعلام الإنساني – أنسنة» كأول شبكة متخصصة في الإعلام الإنساني في فلسطين، ويتولى رئاسة تحريرها.

شارك في العديد من المؤتمرات العلمية والمهنية على المستويين العربي والدولي، كما ساهم كباحث في «مشروع تطوير الإعلام الفلسطيني» الذي نفذته اليونسكو بالتعاون مع مركز تطوير الإعلام في جامعة بيرزيت. وله إسهامات بحثية ومهنية بارزة في تطوير الأداء الإعلامي، حيث أصدر عدداً من الأدلة التدريبية الموجهة لأقسام العلاقات العامة والإعلام في المؤسسات الأهلية غير الحكومية، وعمل مستشاراً إعلامياً لعدد منها.

Dr. Mohsen Alafranji is an academic, journalist, and media trainer with over 20 years of experience in media education, journalism, and training. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Broadcast and Digital Journalism at Qatar University. He holds an International Ph.D. (Mención Internacional) in Media – Television Production from the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain, a Master's degree in Documentary and Television Production from York St John University in the UK, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media from the Islamic University of Gaza, Palestine.

He worked as a lecturer and trainer at the Islamic University of Gaza for around 18 years and contributed to the founding of Al-Kitab TV channel, affiliated with the university. He has also worked as a journalist with several Palestinian and Arab media organizations and has been a certified media trainer for over 15 years, including with the Al Jazeera Media Institute, through which he delivered several training courses in Gaza.

In addition to his academic work, Dr. Alafranji writes specialized articles on media issues for Al Jazeera Journalism Magazine, published by the Al Jazeera Media Institute. He founded the Palestinian Network for Humanitarian Media – Anasana, the first network in Palestine dedicated to humanitarian media, and currently serves as its Editor-in-Chief.

He has participated in numerous academic and professional conferences at both the Arab and international levels and contributed as a researcher to the Palestinian Media Development Project, implemented by UNESCO in collaboration with the Media Development Center at Birzeit University. He has made significant research and professional contributions to improving media performance, including authoring several training manuals for public relations and media departments in NGOs and serving as a media consultant for a number of them.

يشمل الجانب النظري مفهوم الخبر الصحفي في النظم الإعلامية المختلفة، وشخصية الصحيفة وأثرها على كتابة الأخبار... أما الجانب التطبيقي فيتدرب فيه الطالب على استخراج نماذج منشورة من الأخبار وتحديد عناصرها وقوالب تحريرها.The theoretical part covers the concept of the news story in different media systems and the effect of a newspaper's identity on news writing.
